Standardized tests provide data to help us help your children. It does not and will not provide data that will predict the future of your child’s success.
Oakbrook students in grades 3 through 8 began standardized testing this week. For many students and parents, this can be a stressful event. While our standardized testing is an important way for Oakbrook to assess students' academic progress from year to year, as well as to collect data for instructional and curricular improvements, it is not the most important thing. When we consider student progress and learning, the standardized test is just one piece of the puzzle.
